Why I built TeamVis
Remote work unlocked something great for me. I was able to collaborate with smart, talented people from all around the world.
As much as I loved working with my remote colleagues especially those in America, Australia, and the Philippines, there were recurring challenges that creep in when you’re mid sprint focused on writing code.
Not just remembering time zones, but finding out that the 9 a.m stand-up moved because of a daylight savings time change, remembering someone’s unique working hours or waking up on a Monday to realize half the team was out for a national holiday.
Although remote work is on the rise, there are no existing tools thoughtfully designed for the realities of distributed global teams, for software developers and managers alike.
