Account Information

Workspace Information

When syncing with an integration such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom, we may query information relating to users within the workspace you connect to from those providers. Unique IDs, names, email addresses, and time zones may be stored in our database. This enables us to avoid API rate limits (for example, when using the Slack API) and supports other functionality within TeamVis (such as assigning a country to a user).
When connecting an integration, the exact permissions requested are typically shown and require an administrator to grant consent. Granting consent provides us with access tokens, which are stored encrypted at rest.

Chatbots

Chatbot applications process messages within a workspace either when users interact with the chatbot directly (for example, via commands) or when messages are sent within a channel the chatbot has been added to.

We do not store or log the contents of any messages sent to our chatbots, including message bodies or titles. Messages are parsed in real time using pattern matching (such as regular expressions). If a message’s content matches a defined pattern, an automated response may be sent to a user and/or channel.
To support this functionality, we may store and log non-content metadata such as unique identifiers related to channels, users, and, where applicable, message IDs.

We do not track users across different websites or services, do not store IP addresses or use marketing cookies and do not share analytics data with third parties. Analytics data is collected in a limited and proportionate manner, and is only linked to an identifiable email address (of a logged in user) when necessary to operate and improve our services.
